BMW continues its offerings within the Individual program and the new 2012 BMW 6 Series Convertible is the next model in line to receive the special treatment. Available beginning in fall of 2011, the Individual 6er will be offered with unique paint jobs, special wheels and interior trims.

The Individual range only includes optimizations made to the car’s exterior and interior. The powerplant remaines the same.

Exclusively available for the the 650i Individual Convertible, the Tansanite Blue metallic is offered for the first time by BMW. Also exterior colors include Brilliant White metallic and Agate Brown metallic. In any of the three colors, all the paint is applied in up to seven layers offering fascinating iridescent effects, extraordinary brilliance and exceptional depth.

All body paint variants can be combined with the BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line or BMW Individual Exterior Line Aluminum satinated.

Inside, the Individual range includes the fine-grain Merino stems available for the seats, door trim panels, center console and instrument panel. It can be ordered in Platinum, Champagne, Amaro Brown, Cohiba Brown or Opal White version.

Any option of leather can be combined with three variants of BMW Individual interior trim strips, Piano Finish Black or Plane Auburn dark wood.

The US base price for the 2012 BMW 605i Convertible starts from $91,375 and the prices for the Individual package will be announced most likely at the Geneva Motor Show.

    This looks a lot better than the standard car but there’s still something ever so slightly off about the front, and the headlights still look a bit odd.

    Looking at the one picture with both the current and the previous models, I’m struck by the fact that the new car is not better, just different, design wise. Certainly the butt is better resolved, but the front of the new one is a little off and seems too long. I do love that deep blue color, though.

    For me the front lights look odd. I just dont dig them. If you slapped on the current (old) 6ers lights on the new model it would look much cleaner, more aggressive, in general sexier.
    When looking through the photos i noticed the Individual 6er had different front seats…(aside from the usual individual elements like 20inch individual wheels, chrome strip on the boot etc) any info on that? They look like the new Bentley GT’s seats…

    is it just me or there is something really wrong with fit and finish on the left (the interior) the place where doors close , it dont look fluid at all..
