BTW, I also heard that the 135i and the 335i are getting this same engine boost, 135is and 335is. The question is, why can't the Z4 simply get a different engine with more power than the 1 and 3 series? I bought my 135i using the logic, it's cheaper than the 335i and the Z4 35i which has basically the same engine. Of course the Z4 35i is a little different when it comes to the 7 speed double clutch option but why then would I want to "pay more" when I can get same or nearly the same with the 135is? I guess the answer perhaps is, "cute." You can get a Z4 35is because it's "cute." Any comments?

Back to the colors of the 2011 Z4, if it is true that I cannot order my new Z4 in Mojave/Havana Grey then the other color I love is the BlueWater which is also not available for the Z4. Just my luck. I currently own a 135i coupe in the BlueWater color and I love it! It is my thought that nolt all colors look good in a particular model but I am sure the Z4 would look awesome in the BlueWater. Question, I know the answer is no but can I special order my new Z4 35is (Light M) from BMW in either the above two colors without going after-market? I just want to hear (read) it from the horses mouth.

Also, this new BMW Z4 sDrive53is gets a boost of 335-340 horse power but not an M classification, then my theory is that if BMW does put out a truely Z4 M later, it has to be close to the 375 horse power category. Anymore, then it would be in the realm of the M3. However, I am not sure if it would be possible to add hp above 350 due to the fact that adding more horse power requires a larger engine. I am not an engineer or a mechanic but if I am right then you could not fit a larger engine without making the Z4 larger in overall car size. Any comments?

I was so very happy to find out the good news of the Z4 engine upgrade until I found out the colors. It is to my understanding that the 2011 model will not be offered in the Mojave/Havana Grey. Can anyone confirm this? This is the color I want to order for my Z4. I just don't like the other colors due to the fact they are "ordinary" and not "special" like the Mojave/Havana Grey. Yikes!!!...

Those silver mirror caps remind me of the Audi S4 - not an original idea. Looks awesome inside, though. Those gauge faces look hot, although I still don't like the whole 'sDrive35i' nomenclature - doesn't roll off the tongue.

Nice power upgrade as well. I wonder if this is going to be rolled out in the 1, 3, and 5. I'm also wondering if all the twin turbos sixes are going to the single turbo like the 5 GT.
