Thanks to our contributor and friend, PalBay in Upstate SC. , we’re able to show you some photos of BMW’s plans to expand its U.S factory in the next years. Early last year, we learned that BMW is going to move the X3 production to the States and therefore, a larger plant was going to be needed.
Sources close to our friend Palbay also state that some of the BMW 3 Series and PAS models will be built in Spartanburg as well.
In the first two photos, you can see the Paint Shop expansion, followed by the pictures of the Assembley Hall area.

Will the PAS cars (showing at the Frankfurt show in 9/08) be available late fall or early 2009?? I still see no mention of the PAS cars on the BMW NA site…..just the GINA and the M1 stuff….
