Automobile and Autowerke and Hamann worked together once again to produce an exciting BMW project. Based on the BMW X5 M50d – with a tri-turbo diesel technology – the tuned car gets both visual and power upgrades. For even more performance, the engine gets a boost from 381 to 462 horsepower, delivered from the tri-turbo 3.0 liter turbocharged diesel. The maximum torque climbs to 890 Newton meters (656 lb-ft). The Tri-turbo diesel promises in this configuration even more impressive performance, but the specific figures have yet to be released.

Hamann contributed with their styling upgrades, starting with a new front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and spoiler and fender flares.

The acoustics are improved by a sports exhaust system also developed by Hamann which enhances the car’s visuals with its black tailpipes.

A new set of custom wheels was fitted to the X5 M50d as well. The Hamann Anniversary Evo wheels 11 x 23 inch with 315 mm tires give the car a powerful stance and more grip on the road – and on the track, if necessary.
