After a BMW i8 hybrid sportscar, a new F80 M3 and the S 1000 RR Superbike, the new Mission Impossible installment gets more BMW cars and motorcycles to pay with. The “Mission: Impossible” franchise has a sixth entry in production, and a new trailer was officially unveiled.

The footage shows Tom Cruise getting behind the wheel of a classic E28 BMW 5 Series performing some high-speed chasing in Paris. From the BMW Motorrad department, Cruise picked the R Nine T, the retro styled roadster viewed by many custom builders as a “blank canvas for customizing.

“Fallout” is directed and co-produced by Christopher McQuarrie. It is the sixth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series and stars aside from Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris who all reprise their roles from previous films. Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby, Sian Brooke and Angela Bassett will join the franchise. The film is scheduled to be released on July 27, 2018, and will be the first in the series to be released in RealD 3D.

Tom Cruise suffered a horrific broken ankle in the execution of one of the stunts, but the film was still able to use the take where the actor was hurt in the final film. So you add a bit of a drama to the production, along with a great cast and some cool cars, and the new Mission Impossible flick becomes a must see.
