The 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon opened its doors today to aftermarket companies looking to market their products in front of tens of thousands of visitors.

The Tokyo Auto Salon is one of the top motor shows globally for modified and tuned cars, along with the U.S. SEMA Show and Europe’s Essen Motor Show in Germany. It is also Asia’s largest automotive festival featuring unique, wacky and flamboyant designs, but it also highlights some of the aftermarket offerings by traditional automakers, like BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.

Among many, the projects by 3D Design certainly stand out with their more civilized approach to tuning, one that it’s more likely to find their way on street cars. A BMW M4 and X6 M decked out with aero carbon fiber parts stand out at the 3D Design display.
