Every year, the BMWBLOG team heads over to Germany for the annual 24 Hrs of Nurburgring and the M Festival dedicated to M fans from all around the world. This year the 2014 M Festival took place in June, so less rain and more sun.

One of the highlights at the 2014 M Festival was once again the M Corso event. A day before the 24 Hrs of Nurburgring race, the “Green Hell” is hosting over 200 M Festival visitors who celebrate the iconic race track in their own M cars.

While two years ago we toured the “Green Hell” aboard the BMW 1M, this time we were behind the wheel of the new F80 M3 Sedan and F82 M4 Coupe. Our caravan included ten sedans and coupe which to our knowledge were the only ones on the road at Nurburgring.

Prior to the start of the M Corso parade, BMW fans from around the world roamed around to see the latest and greatest M cars, some of them quite unique. From E30 M3s to M1 supercar, 1Ms and M3 GTS models, the 2014 M Corso lineup is always exciting.

After a couple of hours of socializing and admiring the cars in the parking lot, the caravan lined up for a long lap of the most famous race track in the world. And compared to last year’s event, this time the track officials lifted the 40 km/h restriction and we were able to push the M3 and M4s quite a bit.

We managed to capture some photos of this unique experience and we already look forward to next year’s event.
