Starting this Fall, BMW offers the 5 Series GT with an M Sport package. The M Sport package comprises a range of aerodynamics, suspension and interior components which were developed specifically for this model.

The offering includes an M aerodynamics package, dark chrome tailpipes, lowered M Sport suspension and 19-inch V-spoke M alloy wheels with mixed tires. Alternatively, 20-inch twin-spoke M alloy wheels with mixed tires are available as an option.

A typical M feel in the interior is provided by sports seats upholstered in fabric/alcantara (Dakota leather for the BMW 550i Gran Turismo), an M leather steering wheel, M driver’s footrest, M door sill finishers, Palladium Grey interior trim strips and a BMW Individual roof lining in anthracite.

In conjunction with the M Sport package, seven exterior paint finishes are available for the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo, including M-exclusive Carbon Black metallic.

After the B pillar it really needs help.

      not that bad
imo, just a little modification at the rear lights would be ok

heck even after the A pillar it could use a big help.

M or not, its still a challenged  car/truck whatever this thing is… big as a truck, yet small on the inside compare to a wagon… its a car that only its owner could love (and its designer)

For what its designed for… and who it is designed for… it’s perfect as it is!

I’m not sure if I agree with the M sport package on the GT, but it does make it look really hot! On the other hand, there are plenty of after market kits for the GT, so, why not. Besides, it’s always nice to see various design themes on one model.

I actually saw this BMW at one of my local BMW dealerships this past weekend while servicing my 3 Series: http://www.mckennabmw.com/la-bmw-dealers.htm I asked for a test drive but because they had a limited stock of just one unless I was going to buy it they weren’t going to take it outside the sales floor! I’ll be honest I liked the design it kinda looks like the Panamera from the behind but it still has that sporty sedan design look overall a great BMW,

i love 5gt. It is big and comfy. Sure it’s not as sporty as regular 5er but I don’t care because my day-to-day driving doesn’t see any sharp corner-cutting at high speeds or drifting. Also it doesn’t look that bad in my opinion.

I really like what the M package has done for the front of the car, and I love the 5GT for its quirky good looks. you wont see a thousand of them on the road and I like that exclusivity. Great car
