Forgot to add: the Spirit of Ecstasy needs to be at least 75% bigger on top of the Phantom grille. As it is, it gets lost among all that stainless steel and chrome toothy grin. Yes, I know the engineers had to make it smaller so it can hide inside the grille. Still it looks like an afterthought.

Getting away from the Parthenon grille is a huge mistake, though.
It is bad enough that the Phantom’s grille is a bit too wide and too rounded. With the lack of a bumper, it makes the car look like an iceberg, (at least mine does, in white.) I have no plans to get rid of my Phantom but I really see no point in paying so much money to drive a
Chrysler 300.

@Jag: Thats why I said: I could imagine. Meaning, this car could have replaced the Phantom. It's the exact same design, just smaller and fresher. But it didn't. Thats also why I asked: What would the Phantom replacement then look like? My guess is, they won't change it that much -cause it is already (almost) perfect.

Wow. The wood trims are impressive (who’s counting the trees?! lol). Looks really nice tho. Maybe 10 years from now I can afford it when it’s $125,000. :) Man that’s whopping chunk of cash for a car. But it’s beautiful nonetheless.

I can imagine that this car could have been a Phantom replacement. I wonder how and when they’ll replace the Phantom. And how will it look?

But this car is Rolls at its best -a class of its own.

But. . . .Why could they not think of a good name for it? I mean, PHANTOM is brilliant! Silver Ghost, Wraith, Silver Cloud. . . . And 200EX? WTF? It sounds like a great name for AN ATV. But not a RR.

That car looks brilliant. It’s so elegant and stately. Much better than the Continenetal. I like it alot.

But at $250 000 doesn’t that make the 200EX and Arnage competitor ?
