@Clara: Thank you, Clara. I don't think that they are limiting the power in lower gears, but it's something we'd have to ask BMW. I'm not 100% sure. We will get back to you on that, though.

@Clara: But of course….that’s why I went across the country. I will have a review on it as well, I and Josh took turns driving that car.

Well, I do enjoy the power at the low RPM, but I still love my 335i a bit better. Don’t get me wrong, if I were to buy a new one now, I will get the diesel, mostly because of the MPG.

I have a question. Given the torque, do they limit the engine’s output in low gears to protect the transmission?
