With all the attention being geared towards the BMW 1-series, the new M3 or the upcoming X6, everyone seems to forget about the 2009 release of the re-designed BMW Z4.
We know by now that BMW will be shifting the production of the next generation BMW Z4 back to BMW’s Regensburg plant in Germany instead of the current Z4’s production base in Spartanburg, South Carolina. No other technical details have been released yet.
Judging from these photos, I am pretty shre that there is a hardtop on the Z4, not fabric. By looking at the of the three images you can see strikes going across the roof, blacked out trim around the side glass and metal edges around the large glass rear window. These are pretty common on the 3-series convertible also.
Like always, BMW is pretty good at camouflaging their cars so it’s really hard to tell what they have prepared for us.
