Nearly 10% of all BMW passenger cars sold US in September are electric or hybrid
The total number of BMW i3 and i8 models sold last month totals 1,892 units, nearly 10 percent of all BMW cars sold in the US in September

Car and Driver just recently tested the 328e plug-in hybrid prototype and came away with positive results.
BMW 328e plug-in hybrid begins production in November 2015
For the U.S. market, BMW will offer the 328e model which starts production in November 2015.
