I wasnt to sure when i saw the first few pics filter through but now it’s really grown on me.The f10 looks a lot sleeker than the e60 and it good to see that most of the new features on the 7 series will appear on this car too. Interior is perfect in my opinion..way better than anything from Audi or BMW…

Looks good. But what’s with the button-cluttered dashboard? Like the shark style exterior, F10′s dashboard seem to have gone back 10 years with those buttons. Why do they still have climate control buttons if they can have it in iDrive? I like E60′s simplicity better.. Although I must say, they are all well laid out and looks good…

Exactly, this is still a Bangle design, not sure why many people keep saying they’re glad he is gone. Bangle was still there when the first clay models were lined up before the chief designers and the final one was chosen.

A lot of people don’t understand design. This is a result of Bangle’s design team, look at all the flame surfacing on the exterior. He and the new chief are a team for a long time, including the E65 design.

The character is done by the complex surface texture – much more so than E60. The side is not “understated’. To the contrary, the lines are tout and very athletic.

The shart look – well it’s been on the new 7 and the new Z4, nothing new.

E65, E60, etc are all very unique. The new BMWs are back to the various lengths of the same sausage, although I agree it’s one appealing sporty sausage.

James.. Pls don’t demean the launch of F10 5 series by mentioning bangle. Feel free to check out his website if you miss his designs already. Im sure BMW is having a firesale on those those horris designs (A la E60) by bangle so feel free to visit the dealership.

I love the car and cant wait for the M5.

on my 09 335 coupe, the damn letters/numbers totally disappear when i wear the sunglasses. You think they improved it?

I wore my polarized sunglasses when I drove the 750Li and the 550i GT and didn’t have nearly as many problems as I had previously with the E90 and E60 in terms of display visibility. I think people will be pleasantly surprised with the smaller touches of this car.

Another thing that pisses me off, the orange color on the radio display, WTF? i wear sunglasses and can’t see the fucking letters/numbers. lol so they kept it the same for the new 5.

I have just seen a demo car in the UK and, like the GT, the car in flesh looks a lot better than the photos. It is solid and extremely well put together but unfortunately still a little boring for my perception of what a new shape 5 series should look like in 2010.
