A limited number of fifty units of the BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo EDITION 50 were produced last year each outputting 600 horsepower. Now the regular version of the BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo Coupé and Convertible will be available in spring 2016 and featuring the updated engine and drivetrain configuration.
The powerful 4.4 litre V8 Bi-Turbo has been developed further, increasing output to 441 kW (600 hp) and 800 Nm of torque. The BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, onto a top speed of 330 km/h. Combined consumption according to ECE Norm remains at 9.4 l/100km and 219 g/km CO2.
The ALPINA sport suspension with Adaptive Drive comprises electronically adjustable dampers and active roll stabilisation. In combination with a limited slip differential which also comes as standard, the BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo offers distinctly dynamic handling
and increased traction.
The standard equipment has been enhanced significantly. Every BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo interior is now even more luxurious and features BMW full leather Nappa upholstery, a leather covered instrument panel and elegant ALPINA Piano lacquer interior trim.
An optional high-performance fixed-calliper brake system provides even more fading stability in extreme conditions.
Pricing for the BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo Coupé starts at 128,600 euros while the Convertible will cost 136,600.
Did they decide to produce these fossil fuel guzzling cars at the #paris climate talks…? times are changing go elektric!! http://cleantechnica.com/2015/12/11/bmw-i5-suv-images-leaked/
no fuck electric. alpina dont need to do that shit
Yeah, let’s go produce eletric cars that use electricity produced by coal-fired power stations and use batteries made of rare earth materials whose mining and refining is polluting.
the alpina B6 is SO beautiful omg. pure Power and Beauty at its best.
Beautiful shots
Why don’t they put the Alpina Badge on it ? I really think it looks good… And i’d rather have the Alpina Logo and no model designation than a BMW Logo and 1000 letters at the back.
And when you have a logo as good looking, why do you hide it inside ?!
I read somewhere – probably on a forum – that they don’t have the right to put their logo in place of the BMW logo on the boot and the bonnet. BMW does not allow them to do so. On the contrary tuners such as Hartge, AC Schnitzer, Hamann and G Power don’t have the right to keep the BMW logo. It’s surely related to how Alpina closely works with BMW.
Yeah they still go off BMW’s production line, even though Alpina is considered as a car Manufacturer itself.
But still… It would give them a certain “+” imo. I don’t see the option on the site, but i think you could pay for it.
I’ve done some research and ended up with that: http://www.alpina-automobiles.com/en/services/faqs/
Clearly, the answer is no. They won’t propose you to replace the BMW logos.
Wow you’re right, and they insist on it as well, i guess it’s part or the agreement. Thanks.
