Autobild.tv brings us a new video of the F10 BMW M5. Rolf Scheibner, a BMW Driving Experience instructor, goes through a series of drifts and teaches us how it’s done. Unfortunately the video is in German, but nonetheless, the footage is captivating and thrilling.

As we reported before, the performance numbers for the new M5 are impressive. Car and Driver magazine reports that the new BMW M5 run 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds with the Launch Control. From 0 to 100 mph, the M5 only needs 8.3 seconds. But even more impressive, the F10 M5 runs the quarter mile in 12.0 seconds reaching 122mph.

Power for the F10 M5 comes from a TwinPower turbocharged V8. The high-revving 4.4-liter (4395cc) turbocharged uses the BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology, twin-scroll turbochargers, high-precision direct fuel injection, Valvetronic variable valve control and a cross-bank exhaust manifold.

The car produces 560 horsepower from 5,750-7,000 rpm and 502 lb-ft of torque from only 1500rpm.

Without any further ado, let’s have a look.
