A new recall was issued by BMW of North America for faulty head restraints. The recall affects 7,600 new 2012 BMW 3 Series manufactured between October 18, 2011 and March 18, 2012.

The recall bulletin states that in a collision, the head rest could move down by 25 mm, increasing the risk of a neck injury.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, BMW plans to notify owners this month, and dealers will address the problem by installing a small clip to limit the headrest’s movement.

Another childish engineering mistake. Jesus, this bmw is just an absolute rubbish. Instead, Mercedes-Benz and Audi are rock solid and declare barely no recalls at all. Go and hang yourselves, pathetic bmw fans. Or go and continuously empty your wallets thus making your family starve because of your stupid unreliable crappy cars called bmw.

    • Ris

      Are u a stupid..?

      • bmw SUCKS

No, you are. And know what? As a result of these childish recalls, Audi kicked bmw ass in terms of worldwide sales in April. So go hang yourself, pathetic bmw fan!

        • King

Not just recalls, but rather BMW’s pathetic management team thinking they are so high and mighty that BMW does no need an image boost and allow Audi to take all the attention with a sports car R8, shaking up demand for their normal cars because of the attached image of the Audi brand with the R8. BMW? BMW want to boost share prices by sucking up to shareholders, cut cost here and there, introduce VW front wheel drive competitors, going the cheap route to gain short term profits while pissing off customers and potential customers. Sorry but this team is a failure!

  • LaMa

an another bmw failure. way too many recalls lately. epic fail. stupid stuff that should always work yet they manage to screw it up. its all because of cost cutting.

    • bmw SUCKS

No, it’s because of incompetent engineers. And as a result, bmw will lose N1 spot of the premium segment to Audi.

      • FreudeKing

It IS because of COTS CUTTING! Since BMW’s new CEO came in, he has been cutting cost everywhere, even at the cost of BMW’s brand image and quality. count the number of recalls BMW’s had the past few years with last year being the record high in the company’s almost 100 year history. Now this pathetic engineer CEO wants to make more profit by introducing cheap front wheel drive cars as well! THIS IS PATHETIC!

  • Sajan

This is becoming a bit of a trend.. sort it out BMW.
