I enjoyed this review. At least I now have an idea how the car handles. What puzzles me about BMW is that they talk about their M Sport package but as I write this post, one still cannot buy a 7 series with paddle shifters. Since the latter is not on offer, why do they talk about "sport?" There is nothing sporty about the electronic shifter!

The writers of the article should have given us the colour and code for the exterior paint and upholstery. BMW have numerous shades of the same colour eg titanium silver (code 354) and cashmere silver (code A72) metallic paint. This makes it harder to pinpoint the colour of a photographed car.

Furthermore, the options should have been not only listed but individually priced. You gave a net value.
Well, at least you explained a few of them and indicated whether they were useful. Incidentally neither metalic paint nor leather upholstery is standard on the 750i.

One has to take time and study the options. Dynamic Driving Control is standard yet Dynamic Drive (counteracts body roll) is optional. There is a multiplicity of combinations that is startling. It will be hard to find two identically specced BMWs!

My viewpoint is that the looks and the handling says it all. The car resembles a lion. It has a commanding presence. The lighter metallic colours really bring out the car's stoic beauty.
The BMW is more athletic than any other luxury sedan in its price range and it is my first choice when I hit the dealers next month.

Another great review by BMWblog! And great photographs too.

Of all the current BMWs, the seven is my prefered place to be. Until we meet the forthcoming GT, that is. It should be at least as good as the seven. But it's the sheer size of the seven that I'm in love with (and I defenatly don't like my women the way I like my cars... lol). It's got pressence and authority.

When I sat in one, I noticed the door handles being built in ergonomically and higher on the front doors. At first you are blind and cant find them reaching for the "standard" place but once you find it , wow, more leverage. Doors are easily shut. I also noticed an abundance of room between the top corner of the door to your head, its like 18". It makes you feel safe and secure. Great car. Lower the price, you know, bimmers for the rest of us.
