The new BMW G20 3 Series will get some upgrades this year. The BMW Individual program for the 3 Series gets extended with additional colors. The new BMW Individual paint finishes Citrine Black metallic, Oxide Grey metallic, Frozen Dark Grey metallic and Brilliant White metallic create extra scope for customisation.
Customers will also have the option of a BMW Individual leather steering wheel and three different BMW Individual interior trim strip designs from July 2019.
BMW Individual extended leather upholstery Merino and BMW Individual Merino full leather trim – which wraps the upper section of the instrument panel and the door shoulders in black fulled leather, too – will also be added to the options list. The two leather trim variants are each available in a choice of five colours.
BMW Individual extended leather upholstery Merino also features as part of the first BMW Individual Composition for the sports sedan. Other items in the Composition include 19-inch BMW Individual light-alloy wheels, a BMW Individual paint finish, sports seats, the BMW Individual leather steering wheel and an anthracite BMW Individual headliner.
The M Sport Individual model is another new option combining the M Sport model’s equipment features with ultra-stylish details, such as 19-inch BMW Individual light-alloy wheels, a BMW Individual exterior paint finish, BMW Individual interior trim strips, BMW Individual extended leather upholstery Merino and the BMW Individual leather steering wheel.
That colour in that picture is stunning, is that the oxide grey metallic?
Where are the pictures of the new paint and interior finish schemes?
One of my surprise for thé G20 modèl is you cant have ventilated séats… for a premium brand as Bmw i think this is a big fault….
Even Mazdas have ventilated seats.
Wow. Ventilated seats & lane assist. How have I lived without them? Oh, yeah – happily.
And everyone cares about what you think
I think it’s a public forum. As far as thinking goes, try it sometime. If u can.
Just tired of your self absorbed stupidity and lack of any knowledge inserting your dumb self into every criticism of Bmw
Now start whining about me being mean to you and report me like the childish idiot you are.
Unnecessary, u do that every time u type. As for inserting, u attack me. I come here to learn, nothing to do with u.
“Boo hoo boo hoo, Anon wont just let me be a know-nothing expert on a forum telling everyone they’re wrong, boo hoo”
Boo hoo boo boo, disqus won’t block this troll. Since ur comments are unsubstantiated opinion how can they be wrong? And Google can tell u which X3 has ventilated seats.
Lane assist is stupid but ventilated seats are just nice to have, especially where I am. The summers get to 105 degrees.
Yeah these guys are clearly not real car enthusiasts only care about ventilating their ass …what a shame right ?
Did not know they existed.
go buy a mazda then …easy as that and stop complaining about something only 1% of BMW owners care about
I also was quite surprised and disappointed. I tested a 5 series with vented seats, but found it was a bit too big. Liked the 3 series better. Went to order 3 series and couldn’t find the option for ventilated seats. Shame.
It’s a bmw premium-izing strategy. Cars below 5/X5 don’t get ventilated seats, soft close doors, air suspension and other features. Though some have crept down over time.
Except the X3 does have ventilated seats, and use the same seat design/manufacturer as the G20
Which X3 has active seat ventilation?
Both the 30i and M40i offer it on select (not all) colored leather seats (beige, black, etc.)
Ive had it with BMW. After buying a 45K 2017 330i, I have been deprived of all driver assist goodies that even a $18K toyota offers on its basic trim. I know bmw is RWD and looks and drices much nicer but theres a limit to everything. I wont be buying another bmw after this. Apparentlly most people agree with me looking at the sales numbers for the 3 series. In the world of tesla, bmw still thinks that a lane keep assist feature is worth $10K. Pathetic.
What sales #s? Of the sedan that was @ the end of its life, or the coupe, cabriolet, wagon & crossovers that make up the rest of the range? Funny that a driver’s car needs lane assist.
Does bmw pay you to defend them so breathlessly or are just doing for free as their biggest delusional cheerleader?
Do u know the name of the blog ur on?
This is bmwisthebesteverdontyoudaresayotwiseblog.com?
Delusional fanboy
042, u type fiction.
Ok so i bet the new 5 series was selling like hotcakes? So far I have seen 2 new 5’s on the road.
BMW Group best-selling premium manufacturer last yr. @ 2 @ a half million units, I see more new 5’s on my block than you do in yr. ditch, article actuallyy about 3er.
you realize there is more to this earth than just your neigbourhood ?
Hope you realize that I live in the 2nd richest town in usa. A guy in my neighborhood drives a new ferrari.
Unlike ya’all, I actually have and bought a new bmw. Didnt buy a 10 year old one from craiglist. The local bmw dealer only has 10 3 series inbstock. Same for 5 series. They just dont expect to sell many. Bmw is in total panic mode right now.
You can’t even type BMW. So celebrating record sales is “panic mode”? Gud 2 no.
New paint is great… But when is the touring going to be available?
At first glance I thought it was a Lexus IS-F and subsequently had to do a double take.
BMW stylinging needs to check-in to rehab, after they dry out, reboot the shark nose and carry-on.
I’ve seen 1 in the metal, not a Lexus – better proportions, detailing.
No the rear is still bad and has terrible Lexus-looking tail lights.
I’ve seen dozens of them in all available colors and trims.
If a car looks bad from a distance and you have to look up close at “detailing” then the design has failed.
You have to look up “subjective”, as in beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not the typist troll.
Maybe you should first? Because you’re nothing but a fanboy troll.
Not 1 of your comments here have anything to do with the article=troll.
I agree
Add some standard driver assist aids instead of these custom paint gimmicks.
Why does your driving need assistance?
Because safety is important
So wear a condom?
Why do you need airbags and seatbelts?
A question doesn’t answer the question.
Airbags and seatbelts are indeed ‘safe’ What on earth makes you think ‘driver assisting aids’ are? It’s bollocks. Teach yourself to be a better, safer driver instead of relying on technology fads.
If I don’t hit things, I don’t.
Paint is safer than Takata.
I wanna see this pure gold on M3 pure.

More black, white and gray? Whoopee.
2/3rds of the industry are that monochrome, largely due to leasing & fleet buying. Colours (like manual transmissions) impact negatively on resale
Because individual program custom colors are for fleet and lease cars…thanks for clearing that up, Mister Expert.
As with learnt & learned, Oxford Dictionary (or any dictionary) can also teach you the difference between industry & individual.
What are you babbling about now?
Nothing you’d understand.
Pretty much why I painted mine Austin Yellow. It was one of those 3 boring/fleet colors initially.
Green, please.
