A few days ago, some spy photos surfaced of what we thought was a BMW X1 M. As it turns out, that's not what it was.

BMW Sales Chief, Mr Ian Robertson gave some hints at the Beijing Motor Show 2016 that cars like the BMW X1 M and others are in development.

I don’t see any reason why BMW shouldn’t make a BMW X1 M. It could easily boost the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine to well over 300 horsepower
