While some may not agree, you cannot ever go wrong with a bright yellow finished high-performance machine. Whether we’re talking about the more subtle, albeit gorgeous British Racing Green, a more vibrant Kermit Green from Porsche, or the Verde Ithaca from Lamborghini, they all make these vehicles pop up even more. For BMW, however, going with a bright green finish was always a tough choice. For the most part, even BMW offered a great choice of bright finishes like the Phoenix Yellow or Austin Yellow. But, we’ve seldom seen the Bavarian car brand thread the bright green waters. And it seems the aftermarket industry is here to rectify that issue.
This particular Lime Green BMW M2 comes as a perfect reminder that sometimes, high-performance, racing-oriented machines, need to come in bright color finishes. After all, the M2 is an instant classic that packs a hefty performance punch. With a somewhat low production number envisioned, impeccable looks and amazing performance, it’s no wonder that the BMW M2 is one of the most highly sought of after vehicles coming from the Bavarian car maker. The BMW M2 not only comes with aggressive looks, but the small and nimble high-performance coupe also comes with impressive performance and amazing handling abilities.
The M2 is powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 365 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque allowing the M2 coupe to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. Top speed wise, the M2 will hit an electronically limited to 155mph (250km/h). However, if you removed the limiter, we envision it going way past that without any real issues.
In turn, if you asked any BMW enthusiasts that drove this pocket rocket, almost all will confirm this is as good as it gets.
This particular BMW M2 features a set of Vossen MX-6 forged wheels and a slight drop, both working well to bring the additional note of aggression to this vehicle. The wheels are sized 20×8.5 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear, giving this Lime Green M2 a rather compelling and aggressive wheel setup. Thanks to a Matte Brickell Bronze and Transparent Patina Gold finish combination, complete with a bright red Vossen logo, these wheels work perfectly with this build. The final touch is a set of carbon fiber aero additions, namely the front splitters, a rear diffuser and a read decklid spoiler.
