These days, there’s a lot of custom wheels companies trying to leave their mark on the aftermarket industry, but seldom they do impress us in a way that sticks. For the most part, the wheel world is ruled by the heavy hitters like HRE, ADV.1 or Vossen, combined with the legacy wheel makers like BBS Wheels and VOLK Racing. On the other hand, in recent years, some new players are joining the market, trying to disrupt the established pecking order.
For Ferrada Wheels – a Houston, Texas-based wheel company – their goal is to create a unique and beautiful range of wheels for European, US and Japanese vehicles. In order to do so, their designs needed to be edgy, their quality great and the fitment perfect. Did they succeed? Maybe this Frozen Red BMW M4 build will give you a chance to find that answer out for yourselves.
The vehicle in question is a 2016 BMW F82 M4. It comes powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 425 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque. The M4 will sprint from a standstill to 62 mph in as low as 4.1 seconds and go all the way to an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. Plainly put, if you want to showcase a set of wheels, this might just be the perfect vehicle.
For the Frozen Red BMW M4 seen here, the choice landed the wheel maker with a set of Ferrada FR7 wheels. These are sized 20×8.5 and 20×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. Add a Bronze finish and the wheels, together with the Frozen Red exterior, pop up nicely. Furthermore, the wheel company equipped their BMW M4 wide an array of carbon fiber parts: a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear decklid spoiler were added, all completing the performance-inspired exterior look.
Ferrada made an effort to showcase these in a beautiful way, so the BMW M4 with these wheels is shot in a beautiful desert scenery, somewhere outside of Las Vegas. Grab a detailed look at this photoshoot in the media gallery right below.
