These days, wheel companies are popping up like mushrooms after the rain. While most of them burn out rather soon, some are backed up by years of love for automotive customization. One of these is Elite Design Concepts and their brand new wheel lineup. The New York City based tuning shop was founded in 2011 with the intention of working with passionate car enthusiasts to enhance a vehicle they already love and make it theirs.
Now, EDC decided to complement their daily workload creating impeccable aftermarket builds, with making a reality of their vision of what aftermarket wheels should look like as well.
Elite Design Concepts is mostly concentrating on high-performance models from the German car makers, alongside the usual dose of Lamborghini and Ferrari projects. For one of their first projects, they’ve decided to update a gorgeous Long Beach Blue BMW M2 with a set of their EDC Classic wheels.
The BMW M2 comes powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 370 horsepower and 369lb-ft of torque. It allows the nimble high-performance coupe to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 155mph (250km/h). A perfect starting point for an aftermarket build like this.
This particular Long Beach Blue BMW M2 comes with EDC Classic wheels sized 19×9.5 in the front and 19×10.5 in the rear. For this build, the wheels are finished in a Carbon Graphite finish, giving the M2 an aggressive and clean exterior look. Without published specifications as to weight and strength and cost of such items, these paid articles become a drag on BMWblog’s credibility.
Nothing wrong with advertisements when they are identified as such, but not when they are identified as articles and are non-informative.
Not really a paid article. It’s one of the most gorgeous exterior paint finishes available for BMW cars, some popular directional wheels. But, I do see your point! We’ll try to get the weights for aftermarket wheels from the manufacturers for future articles, that’s for sure honestly.
Silly looking wheels.
To each his own. The directional multispoke like these are gaining more traction every day, specially with the owners who like to take it a bit further.
The Wheels could have been better but car itself is a true master piece

Ew. Not a fan of rims that are wider than the tyres, or wheels that go outside the arches.
