The combination of Alpine White and Bronze/Gold is often frowned upon, but in some cases, the pairing can make for a gorgeous vehicle. This particular Alpine White BMW M6 Gran Coupe comes with a set of Velos Designwerks in the said combination, adding a nice flavor to the somewhat aging M6 design.
The new BMW 6 Series will arrive in 2018, seven years after the introduction of the F12 Convertible and F13 Coupe models. But it will change its badge to the 8 Series name.
Until then, we have the aftermarket wheel industry to help keep the current BMW 6 Series as relevant as ever.
Consequently, the Velos S10 wheels added to this Alpine White M6 give the vehicle a unique exterior appeal. The wheels come with Brushed Polished accents and Transparent Gloss Monaco Copper finish combination, a slight tweak of the bronze/gold theme.
The wheels feature a three-piece configuration, combined with the step lip and floating spokes layout, giving them a detailed and unique custom look. The wheels come with sizes of 21×9.5 and 21×12 in the front and rear, respectively.
The current-generation BMW M6 is powered by a 4.4 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 engine, delivering 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. By utilizing its Launch Control feature – letting your engine achieve maximum acceleration from a standing start – you can brandish every lb-ft right off the line, accelerating from a 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.3 seconds. With an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h), it can keep up on both the street and the track with most of today’s sportscars.
The M6 Gran Coupe is often regarded as one of the best designs BMW has put out in years, and the combination of attractive lines and power makes for a great buy.
