With the BMW M2 stealing the spotlight in recent months, it’s good to see the aftermarket world pays attention to the BMW F82 M4. This project comes courtesy of an Austin, Texas owner who decided to spice up the looks of his vehicle, thanks to some aftermarket tuning parts. As you will see from the images below, even the license plate fits the mold: MR GR4Y is a nice word play for this car.

This Mineral Gray BMW M4 comes with a set of HRE R101LW custom forged wheels. These are some of the lightest forged wheels available from the US-based wheel maker, adding a perfect visual touch to the M4, albeit without impacting its performance. For starters, these wheels are light. Some sizes start at a rather light 16 lbs, making them a perfect option for owners that wish to shed excess weight of their cars. Additionally, the HRE R101LW wheels were specifically designed for individual vehicle modes, taking into account the prerequisite fitment and other needs.

Since every vehicle has a different load rating and power output, HRE Wheels have utilized this data to redesign the R101 with fine tuning each aspect of the wheel, removing weight and adding wheel strength – wherever possible.

For this application, the wheels come sized 20×8.5 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear. The wheels are adorned with a classy looking Frozen Rose Bronze finish, working perfectly with the Mineral Gray finish of the vehicle itself. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Furthermore, the owner added a set of KW Suspension Clubsport three-way adjustable coilovers, allowing him to fully adjust both the ride height, but also the general suspension performance as well. The vehicle also comes with a PSM Dynamic rear carbon fiber diffuser, adding a nice accentuating detail in the back.

Finally, the complete Akrapovic custom exhaust system was also installed that gives the BMW M4 a much improved exhaust note over the stock system sound. Check out the full build gallery right below.
