Known mostly for their work on Porsches or Mercedes-Benz models, Moshammer may be a new name for BMW enthusiasts. However, the German tuner does tend to have a fresh take on what the Bavarian brand has to offer and their latest kit for the BMW F30 3 Series is definitely something else. Developed especially for the M Sport package, it will stand out in the crowd, no doubt about it.
Their proposition for the 3 Series could also be called a ‘wide body kit’ as it does widen the car’s hips. However, the Moshammer people stayed away from such naming schemes, to get as much attention as possible, knowing that not everyone is interested in widening their car’s fenders among other things. And we have to say that what they came up with is just right, being right between what a standard 3 Series brings to the table and how big of a difference other, wider kits make.
Up front you’ll notice the complete carbon fiber splitter that stretches beneath both air intakes as well as the new front fenders with carbon vents. On the sides, carbon fiber skirts have been added to the mix, working perfectly with the slightly flared rear wheel arches. At the back, the bumper now has a fresh carbon fiber diffuser on, encompassing the new tailpipes. A carbon fiber boot lid spoiler completes the package.
A couple of M Performance parts were also thrown into the mix, such as the carbon fiber mirror caps and the black kidney grilles up front. What’s interesting is that the hood seems to have a power dome even though there’s no mention of it anywhere, making this car as close to a BMW M3 as possible.
