This build is unorthodox in many different ways. From the exterior finish, to the carbon fiber, all the way to the aftermarket wheels, this BMW M4 is not your usual cup of tea. For starters, the owner chose the iconic Laguna Seca Blue for the M4’s exterior finish. The color gets its name after the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit located in California, an important track for BMW as the motorsport second win came there. More recently, the BMW 24 GTLM tasted success at the track in its debut year, finishing second in the 2014 USCC race.
The Laguna Seca Blue color first debuted on the BMW E46, but hasn’t been seen featured on many new BMWs, most likely because it’s an extra option that costs close to $2,000.
The full customization was done over at AUTOCouture Motoring who did all the heavy lifting. First, you will notice the carbon fiber front spoiler, rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and a rear decklid spoiler. Additionally, the added black exterior details make the M4 look classy and clean overall.
The Individual Laguna Seca Blue finish is paired up with rose gold finished aftermarket wheels. Courtesy of HRE Wheels, these are a lightweight, strong and performance oriented upgrade that fits the BMW M4 perfectly. These may not be the first choice for many owners, but they do – together with a finish like this – bring the attention level for this car’s exterior to new heights.
