Four years later and the BMW 1M still holds a high value on the used cars market. According to a listing on PistonHeads, a low mileage BMW 1M in pristine condition is selling for nearly 53,000 British Pounds. The Black Sapphire 1M with Black Boston Leather Sports Seats with Kyalami Stitching has an extensive list of features including 19″ Alloys, Professional Satellite Navigation, Harmon Kardon Speaker System, Bluetooth Prep, Heated Front Seats with Driver Memory, Comfort Access, Adaptive Xenon Headlights with High Beam Assist, DAB, Folding Electric Mirrors, Grey Shade Windscreen with Sun Protection glass.
The BMW 1M sold for £40,000, but is now no longer in production and the UK market received 450 units.
In the U.S., the 1M is also selling at MSRP or above it, and most of the cars, with low miles, are still hot on the used cars marketplaces. A nice example of that is this 2011 Valencia Orange 1 Series M Coupe with 11,763 miles and it costs…$61,900. The starting price of a 1 Series M when new? $47,010. That’s almost $15,000 in appreciation.
That’s one hell of a good value. Imagine being able to sell your sports car that you enjoyed for four years for more money than you paid? Your wife could never complain about you buying a sports car again
