Last we saw of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe, Mercedes was giving us a teaser video of it ready to take on a race track. The video sparked quite a bit of intrigue, as the look and sound of the C63 coupe are tantalizing to say the least. Well, Mercedes-Benz has decided to tease us again with its upcoming M4-fighter with another badge of pictures.

It’s still difficult to tell what the C63 Coupe will look like, given that it’s still heavily camouflaged, but there are some things we can make out. The lower air-dam, for instance, is the same aggressive one you can see on the C63 Sedan. You can also see the profile of the C63 Coupe, with its short rear deck and decklid spoiler. Other than that, however, is hidden by swirly camo.

THe C63 AMG Coupe will come with Mercedes-Benz’s newest 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8, the same powerplant in its sedan counterpart. Depending on the model you get, the C63 AMG Coupe will come with either 469 hp or 503 hp. Both being significantly more than the BMW M4. While the C63 AMG Sedan isn’t any faster than the BMW M3, despite having more power, the C63 AMG Coupe is considerably lighter than its sedan sibling, so it might just have an edge.

Mercedes-Benz is launching the C63 AMG Coupe August 19th, but expect to see more teasers until then. This is an important car for Mercedes and AMG, as BMW and Cadillac are the two heaviest hitters in the segment and Mercedes needs to punch back. The C63 AMG Coupe will bring good looks, tons of power and an epic V8 noise to the party. But BMW’s M4 has already proven that it is one of the best handling cars on the road, bringing excellent precision, and also has its own dynamite engine.

It will be interesting to see how the C63 AMG Coupe and the BMW M4 will stack up, but until then we just have to watch Mercedes’ teasers and imagine. We’ll keep updated you as Mercedes gives more info.
