Today, Vorsteiner released more details on their BMW F30 3 Series Deck Lid Spoiler product, adding another aero part to the the list of products for the 3 Series. The spoiler comes as an additional feature on the boot of the current BMW 3 Series, delivering both a cosmetic and performance improvement. The spoiler is made of Vorsteiner’s Autoclaved Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber structure which gives their parts superior stiffness, aerospace strength and durability compared to traditional hand laid carbon fiber composites.
The BMW 328d seen here features BMW’s 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo Diesel 4-cylinder engine which produces 180 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. While not the most fastest kid on the block, the 328d can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 7.3 seconds, albeit with great fuel efficiency. With an M-Sport package and some carbon fiber additions, the diesel powered 3 Series is without a doubt a compelling product.
