With plenty of engines and exterior and interior trims to choose from, everybody can find their perfect 1 Series. So did the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. BMW proves once again their creativity with this modern commercial, making use of popular characters to promote their products.
The Sesame Street commercial definitely appeals to the younger generation – people who grew up in the nineties and can be targeted as the perfect customer group.

Toyota already used the Muppets so this strikes me as both odd and unimaginative. Entry-model or not, it’s a premium car and a commercial like this is a poor fit.
Couldn’t agree less with you! The 1 Series was always targeted at the younger buyer demographics entirely. This won me over! And I’m sure as hell a potential customer for this vehicle, the ad is simply funny. Best thing to have in today’s world!
