Every year, during the Superbowl, millions of people get together to watch…commercials. I can’t begin tell you how annoying it is, as a football fan, to only hear about commercials the next day. But some of them are good, admittedly. The Budweiser ones always hit me right in the feels, with those adorable labs and cool horses.

But the best ones, however, are about cars. Car companies always make great commercials for the Superbowl, so let’s go through some of the best ones.
5. My Bold Dad | Presented by The Bold New Camry
It pains me to compliment Toyota for anything, but they made a good commercial this year. Showing a girl growing up with her father, learning valuable lessons from the passenger seat of a Toyota. And in the end, the father watches her leave for the airport, to go serve in the military, from his Toyota. It really shows how cars can help hold important memories for you.
4. Nissan 2015 Super Bowl Commercial | “With Dad”
Nissan also makes a good, emotionally charged commercial, showing a racecar driver father and his son. The son follows his career with pride and fear, knowing how dangerous his father a career is, but wants to follow in his footsteps anyway. Another emotional commercial that showed a good parent/child relationship.
3. 2015 Dodge Super Bowl Commercial | Wisdom | #DodgeWisdom
Dodge tricks us a bit on theirs. At first they show groups of people who were born about a hundred years ago, speaking about what it takes to live a full life for that long. The elderly folk then start getting a bit more fun with some images of various Dodge vehicles getting sprinkled in. They then end the commercial with a Dodge Challenger doing a burnout. Awesome.
2. BMW i3 – “Newfangled Idea”
BMW hasn’t had a Superbowl commercial in four years, but they broke their silence this year. In a humorous commercial about the misunderstanding of new technology, Brown Gumble and Katie Couric are shown talking about their confusion with the newfangled internet, back in 1994. It then cuts to the same pair in a BMW i3, having the same confusion. It expertly shows how change can confuse and scare some people. Plus it shows a great looking i3.
1. 2015 FIAT 500X Super Bowl Commercial | The FIAT Blue Pill | #500X
The best commercial award has to go to FIAT, though. In keeping with their raunchy style, FIAT shows an elderly man being summoned by his wife, into bed, before the old man decides to take a little blue pill. The pill, however flies out of the window and bounces around, comically, before it lands in a FIAT 500, only to “enhance” it into a 500L. Just great, hilarious, typical FIAT fun.
