The E92 BMW M3 Frozen Black was one of the few limited edition models built by BMW before it phased out the popular M car. In the U.S., the BMW M3 Frozen Black launched in 2011 and sold out in twenty minutes.

The Limited Edition M3 Frozen Black ran a $15,400 premium over a base E92 M3. BMW included in that price a $5000 paint job, the $2500 Competition Package lowering the M3 10mm and matte black 19” Light alloy Y-spoke 395M style wheels.

The E92 M3 Frozen Black Editions also have EDC and DSC with sport mapping. Included is also the $4,350 Premium Package and black extended Novillo leather.

Unique to the Limited Frozen Editions is deviated stitching which is to match the exterior in these special M3s. Another nice and unique highlight is the gloss black kidney grills, side gills and black exhaust pipe tip complimented by carbon fiber roof.

Overall, a beautifully packaged E92 M3 that makes for a head-turner on the street.

Now meet this E92 M3 Frozen Black from Belgium which went through a not so successful visual upgrade. The owner decided to pair the beautiful matte black with orange accents giving the car a Panda look. Sans the white.

Most of the time, those special edition M3s are better left untouched, even a slight upgrade of parts and a change in color can ruin a classic look.
