Funkiest BMW 1M ever

BMW 1M | January 22nd, 2015 by 8

Not only the BMW 1M is a rare sight these days, but one with a camouflage paint job is even more exclusive. Offered only in three colors – Valencia Orange, Sapphire Black and Alpine White – the 1M has been seeing its fair share of custom colors over the years.

From the official last 1M produced (in Java Green) to a Frozen Valencia Orange and some cool vinyl wraps, the 1M manages to look good in whatever color you throw at it.

Even in this psychedelic camouflage vinyl, the 1M shows off its curvaceous lines and flared fenders, along with the dynamic front-end. For further sportiness, the 1M owner added a carbon fiber front lip, a rear diffuser and spoiler, and carbon fiber mirror caps.

Judging by the license plates, the military-style 1M is registered in Switzerland.

BMW 1M remains one of the most sought BMWs on the used car market and prices are significantly higher than the original MSRP ($47,030). BMW was originally going to release the 1M as a limited production model of 2,700 units. Then due to overwhelming demand, the company lifted the cap and produced a total of 6309 cars until production ended in June 2012. Nevertheless, production of the 1M Coup stopped in June 2012, with 740 units sold in the US and a further 220 sold in Canada.

Total 6309 cars sold worldwide.
