Last year we reported on the project BMW Sportback Concept by the Turkish designer Ismet Çevik who aimed to give us a futuristic look at a new BMW car.
The virtual model was created with CINEMA 4D and features some aggressive design lines with some elements inspired by current BMW design. At the front, the car dominates with its wide shark nose and laser headlights with a shape similar to the BMW i8. The headlights also follow the current BMW design trends and they end in the kidney grille.
As the designer says, some inspiration also came from older models, like the E30 m3, which influenced the front and rear fender flares.
The updated project front shows an alternative approach for the BMW sports car of the future with LED elements in the front bumper and massive air intakes. At the rear, we have the typical L-shaped taillights running through to trunk cover with integrated spoiler.
As an engine, the designer considers, for example, the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 from BMW M5 and M6 as being a potent powerplant for the study concept.
