Tommy Milner has already begun to make a name for himself at a relatively young age with the BMW RLR Team over the last two seasons of the American Le Mans Series.

Currently, Mr. Milner is paired with race car veteran Bill Auberlen in the #92 M3 GT and they’ve proved to be quite a team managing to both land in third place  in the driver standings for the season thus far and working with team mates Joey Hand and Dirk Muller to position BMW just one point behind the Flying Lizard Porsche’s in the GT class.

In only his second season with BMW RLR, Tommy has managed to land on the podium a handful of times keeping the BMW in the running for the championship. With the constructor’s championship being determined this weekend, Tommy and the team have been hard at work at Road Atlanta, prepping for the 10-hour, 1,000 mile race. During the most recent practice session this evening, Tommy and Bill managed to box out the Porsches for practice times of over half second lap time compared with the boys from Stuttgart.

Yesterday, 3 time WTCC champ Andy Priaulx sat down to answer your questions about the Petit Le Mans and his extensive career with BMW. Well, today Tommy took time out of practice to sit down and field your questions about the progress made with the Dunlops this season, his partnership with Bill Auberlen and where he thinks the M3 GT carries an advantage around Road Atlanta.

As a reminder, BMWBLOG with be in attendance for the 2010 Petit Le Mans this Saturday. We will both around the track and working directly with the team to bring you the latest updates from the race.
