The BMW Gran Coupe saga continues and today, we have a new video of BMW’s latest concept unveiled last week at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show.
The BMW Gran Coupe is labeled as a 4-door coupe type of vehicle with a distinctive sporty character. This very same model constitutes a preview of the upcoming, redesigned 6 Series and the Munich-based automaker confirmed that some of the design elements from the Gran Coupe Concept will transpose in the 6er Coupe and Convertible.
The production ready model will be launched in 2012 and the Gran Coupe Concept will make its European debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall. Underneath it will use the same ‘backbone’ platform that underpins the current 5-series, 7-series and 5 GT.
oh snap does this mean production will start in 2012???? If this car does get produced then SWEET!
this model should be best bimmer to day…and it has power to be the flagship…but only thing i liked better at the cs is that side line around the wheel, the shark nose…i like the front but its too much like 7 series, and 5 grill…but ill wait to see it live and production model…
They didn’t incorporate the beautiful side line around the rear wheel arch in any of their recent designs. Instead, Merc is using it in ther designs extensively.
do you mean, the bevel over the front wheel, or the interrupted line over the rear wheel?
The latter I never understood, it seemed highly arbitrary to me.
I just noticed from this video that the bumper is too current 6 series style, no good. It should have covered lower.
宝马最近的两部概念车都很值得期待啊!
