With a little bit of delay, I will start our coverage from the Chicago Auto Show. First, let me start by saying that the show is quite different this year, in a way that you can clearly see the economic crisis affecting all the manufacturers and them having their budget planned for other car shows.

Same goes for the media coverage, for the first time in years, the media center was less crowded and the “usual faces” were no where to be seen. But that’s not here or there, I still enjoyed being there, hanging around for hours at the BMW stand and enjoying some quiet time with our lovely bimmers.
Since I have already seen the world premiere of the new Z4, there was really no other exciting model available there, but hey..new photos are new photos. This time, I also took one of my friends with me, she is a great photographer since I am not so confident about my photo skills. Within a few days, we should have some nice wallpapers available for you, but in the mean time, I’ll show you some photos with the BMWs we have seen there.
So, let’s start with the new star, the 2009 BMW Z4. BMW only had the sDrive30i model available, in the silver color we saw in Detroit as well. My favorite Deep Sea Blue wasn’t available, but who knows….the public might get to see it.
