World premiere in Geneva: LUMMA Design turns the BMW X6M into a thoroughbred sports car.
CLR X 650 M – that is the name of the BMW X6M after it underwent a rejuvenation by LUMMA Design. Instead of the serial 555 hp (408 kW), the V8-engine now renders powerful 650 hp (478 kW). Also, LUMMA Design increases the maximum torque from 680 to breathtaking 830 Newton metres.
Thereby, the top speed rises to 312 kph. This enormous performance enhancement of the BMW is owed to the catalyst replacement pipes, the sports exhaust system and the adjusted engine electronics which LUMMA Design especially optimised for this automobile in elaborate tests. The matching sound for this newly gained power is rendered by the end muffler “Sportsound” with its four stainless steel end pipes measuring 100 millimetres in diameter. Read the rest of this entry »

Germany based LUMMA Design and russian tuner TOPCAR Moscow are working on a new model based on the BMW X6 M. Dubbed CLR X 650 M, the new LUMMA model takes the level of aggressiveness found in the X6 M to a whole new level.
The CLR X 650 M features an aggressive aero kit with new bumpers, aerodynamic side skirts, extended fender flares and a rear diffuser. The usual chrome seen on some of the BMW models is replaced with a black matte paint, including the front-grille. A massive rear spoiler comes to complete the aggressive look.
The LUMMA CLR X 650 M sits on a pair of 23-inch wheels that cover the high-performance Brembo brakes.
“Rensson”? Yes, name doesn’t familiar and we haven’t seen any of their previous work, but an aggressive modded BMW X6 M bearing the Rensson brand was spotted in the old foggy London.
If the X6 M wasn’t aggressive enough for your own taste, the Rensson branded one takes it to a new level. At the front-end, the redesigned hood gets a couple of air inlets and probably not our most favorite feature, a front-bumper with LED lights built in. (Audi anyone? )
The exterior design seems and it is indeed broader than the standard model due to the flared arches. Larger wheels and tires are also available on the car. At the rear-end, the X6 M Rensson gets two large oval exhaust tips that are likely to sound a bit different from the factory installed exhaust.
Hartge is the first tuner to come up with several upgrades for the new X6 M, BMW’s first all-wheel-drive M vehicle that launched earlier this year.
The first Hartge X6 M kit is a mild one, with the exterior design going through minor changes, but the now famous Hartge wheels and interior upgrades are available from the get-go.
The full list of upgrades is outlined below.
CAR BODY
– HARTGE set of emblems for bonnet and boot lid
–HARTGE insignia 140 x 16 mm

Journalists across the world continue to review the first BMW xDrive M vehicle, X6 M. The 2010 BMW X6 M made its debut earlier this year at the New York Auto Show and it was put through heavy testing by a large group of journalists at the International Media Launch in Atlanta.
Opinions have been split, raving reviews from some, but negative feedback from others. Unexpected? Not totally, every single, non-classic BMW model has been through this purgatory and the X6 M makes no exception.
The Aussie fellows at CarAdvice took their turn behind the 555 horsepower M SAC and let’s see what they have to say.
