We have the tendency to post a lot of pictures so today we're going to show you some new photos illustrating the BMW 135i coupe. They were taken at the BMW Welt Delivery Center in Munich. The interesting part about these new shots is that we don't get to see the Sedona Red color anymore. BMW made an habit of showing us each time the same color over and over. Today, the new 135i will shine in a Black and Sparkling Graphite exterior.
Once again, the car looks amazing, every time I see new photos of it, I realize that the BMW 135i coupe will be a huge hit for the german automaker.
Here is the latest video showing the BMW 135i coupe in a Montego Blue color, my favorite one. The video is a little long but it's definitely worth watching it.
A friendly advice, turn down the volume, the background music is a little annoying.
These are the first photos with the BMW 135i coupe being spotted in Canada. We have seen many test cars being driven all over California so it's a little interesting to see the car in a different environment. This particular 135i coupe comes in a black exterior and I have to be honest, I think it goes well with the style of wheels that have been put on.
Now, if we could get an official released date for Canada and the pricing, then we can all move on and start worrying about the order process and payments.

BMW 135i coupe. The hottest car in town, the most popular "kid" in school. Well, at least that's what all the Car Magazines and car news reporters are saying. For the past few weeks, we have been posting several reviews on our blog, reviews that were issued by some of the most popular car magazines out there. In case you have missed them, you can always find them at our BMW 135i section.
Today, we're going to give you another type of review, this time a review written by an independent source, "jobes" a member of 1addicts.com
I had the opportunity to drive a 135i coupe and cab today. The 135i coupe and cab were black sapphire auto fully loaded. I also got to quickly try a 135i montego blue in manual.
First impressions of the car… the car was smaller than I thought it would be. Exterior wise I am still not totally in love with the look but I still think it looks alright. The interior is decent in size. I am just under 6 feet and i fit fine in the car, but that leaves the backseat with very little room. The interior is your basic BMW interior… the car I drove had I drive and the screen pops up from the dash as soon as you put the fob into the slot.
The sport seats are your typical BMW sport seats… they hug nicely. The M sports steering wheel was quite nice. Same paddle shifters from my 335 were found in this car.
A few months ago, we were the first one that have posted some photos with the BMW 135i coupe in a Montego Blue exterior color.
Since then, we have seen many spy photos or official photos of the BMW 1-series, but most of them were in the Sedona Red color. Today, Axcu, a member of 1addicts.com has posted some new photos of the 135i in the color that we love the most: Montego Blue. As I have said before, I think this color will become the most popular one in the 1-series.
This week is the BMW 135i coupe reviews week. Just a few days ago, MSN UK has given the BMW 135i coupe a 4-star rating, also the Car and Driver magazine has been very impressed with this new 1-series coupe and today, it's edmunds.com's turn to tell us how a great car the BMW 135i coupe is.

To put it plainly, the 2009 BMW 135i is more than merely good. It raises the standard of measure for small coupes to a whole new level of excellence. It is one of the purest expressions of the BMW character since the 1971 BMW 2002 tii.
The demo of the new GT5 video game for PS3 has been out in Japan for a few days now. Surprisingly, the upcoming BMW 135i is featured in this new Gran Turismo version. As you can see from these photos, the car is absolutely stunning.
The Montego Blue will be a very popular choice and I expected to become the most ordered exterior color. GT5 actually lets you configure the 135i in other colors as well, but the blue seem to be standing out more than others.
Continuing our series of reviews, today MSN UK has the floor. From the get-go, we can tell that the journalist Richard Aucock is a car enthusiast and his review it's one of the best I have seen so far. Starting with the end, here is the final verdict given by MSN.

Summary
Expansion of 1-Series range sees two-door Coupé join the ranks - and immediately becomes the choice version of the lot.
First impressions
The 2002 was the sporting Coupé that made BMW famous. Today's 3-Series is as engaging as it is because of that crisp, compact classic. No wonder, then, that the launch conference hall of the 1-Series Coupé was full of them. For the new model is, according to BMW, the 2002, reborn. Has to be, really, in order to be distinct from the dearer, more upstanding 3-Series Coupé. This is the rabble-rouser, the loud, bold upstart to drag young-affluents away from their TTs and reignite some of that old-school BMW brashness. It's also the car that takes the 1-Series to the US. Americans, see, hate hatches.
Yesterday, it was the canadian journalist Laurence Yap that reviewed the upcoming BMW 135i and today, we have another review from a respectable magazine, caranddriver.com. The closer we get to the launch date, more and more reviews will pop up. Also, remember that the official U.S launch will be taking place on Nov, 12 at the L.A Auto Show.
So, here is what our friends had to say about this amazing new BMW.
When BMW first entered the compact car segment with its 1-series (E87) hatchback in Europe in 2004, the car was immediately castigated as too expensive in light of the less-costly Volkswagen Golf (Rabbit) that had ruled the compact segment for decades.
Since then, BMW has silenced the disdain by selling almost 450,000 units of its three- and five-door 1-series premium compacts; everyone now agrees that it’s a success. It drives sweetly, too, which leaves its not-so-elegant design as the only remaining complaint with the hatchback models.
But nearly all premium hatchbacks brought to the U.S. have met with failure. Remember the BMW 318ti? How about the slow-selling, then promptly discontinued Mercedes-Benz C230 Sport Coupe?
Laurence Yap is a Canadian auto journalist and he had the honor to test drive the upcoming BMW 135i coupe.
There are two ways to look at BMW's newest, and smallest, car, the 1-series coupe. It's either a return to form, a back-to-basics expression of the company's most traditional values. Or it's an expensive little indulgence, a car that makes little sense from a logical standpoint but whose looks, performance and image will nevertheless make it a favorite of die-hard car enthusiasts.
Just looking at the 1-series - which was originally created for the European market in hatchback form, which we won't get - and it's hard not to be reminded of the 2002, the little sports sedan that racked up success after racing success and whose sparkling performance and compact size became the very definition of what a BMW was all about. From the tall, thin-pillared greenhouse to the flat, almost retro way the hood flows straight along the side of the car into the short rear deck. Like the 2002, the grille hunches forward a little bit and the wheels are pushed out to near the corners of the car. Unlike that car, however, the detailing is decidedly modern, with a sweeping character line across the lower half of the car that visually links it to the current 3- and 5-series models.

The official numbers we were all waiting for:
- 1.1" higher, 8.4" shorter, 1.4" narrower
- 1.3" less front shoulder room, 4.5" more rear shoulder room
- 128i / 100 lbs. lighter than a 328i
- 135i / 200 lbs. lighter than a 335i
- 0-60 MPH 128i (M/A) 6.1/6.7 sec.
- 0-60 MPH 135i (M/A) 5.1/5.2 sec.
At 200lbs lighter, the BMW 135i will definitely be an amazing car, faster than the 335i coupe and in the same time cheaper. I can predict already that in a few years, the BMW 135i coupe might become the most sold BMW.
Thanks to "sectos" , a member of 1addicts.com, we're able to show you the BMW 135i in a Sparkling Graphite color. In the past, we manged to get photos of the 135i in different exterior colors: Montego Blue, Sedona Rad, Black.

There were many speculations that the M sport package might be standard on the upcoming BMW 135i coupe, the U.S version. It was uncleared especially since BMW has not released their ordering guides for the people in North America.
Many official guides that were released in Europe has shown the package as being standard, but knowing BMW, anything could be possible.
The confirmation came from a member of 8thcivic.com, who is stationed overseas in a U.S military base. In case you didn't know, BMW offers discounts on vechicle purchased by military personal, discounts that are similar to the ones offer by the BMW European Delivery program.
As I predicted, the closer we get to the US launch next spring, the more spy photos showing the BMW 135i are surfacing. I have also mentioned before that one of my favorite colors on the new 1-series coupe cars is the Montego Blue. This color seems to be the most popular choice on the 3-series coupe as well.
In a previous article, you have seen some spy photos showing the BMW 135i in a Montego Blue color, being tested throughought Germany.
