The Rolls-Royce Cullinan was finally unveiled today, as promised a while back, bringing the British brand into a new segment for the first time in its long history. The first ‘high-bodied’ vehicle in the Rolls-Royce range was promised to bring with it the ability to conquer all types of terrains in this world without sacrificing the comfort of those on board. That seems to be a promise Rolls-Royce delivered on if we’re to take the ‘Final Challenge‘ footage as an argument.

It’s a reoccurring theme though and it was present at the car’s big unveiling in Goodwood which took place a couple of hours ago. The officials present took a moment to introduce not only themselves but also the car and, of course, its ability to go anywhere. As a matter of fact, the whole ceremony was done under this motto, as you can see in the footage below, if you have 15 minutes to spare. Apart from what the 4×4 system will be capable of doing off-road, the car comes with a lot more in store for the ‘wealthy’ patrons who are going to buy it.

The second video posted below shows how the company plans to promote its latest offering, aiming at those who actually like to explore. Considering the starting price of the Cullinan will be over $300,000, we’re guessing they appeal to a rather small niche overall, but one that definitely likes having some cake and also eating it, if you catch my drift. The Cullinan will be aiming to please everyone and in this regard, and given its configuration, it will be used for a variety of purposes.

In its first commercial another interesting suggestion is made, making it seem like no matter the surface you’re riding on the comfort felt inside the cabin will basically be unchanged. That also seems to apply for higher speeds as we can see the Cullinan covering some rather rough terrain with a decent velocity. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen once we take it for a spin but in the meantime, let’s enjoy it in motion via video.
