The all-new BMW G30 5 Series might be an understated business sedan, but thanks to the aftermarket industry, that changes rather quickly. This particular Carbon Black Metallic 5 Series went through a makeover and received a series of black-painted aftermarket parts. At the front, we can easily spot the black kidney grille while the side trim is also painted in black to match the overall theme.

A set of Vossen Wheels was added which were also finished in black and paired with a set of M Performance Brakes with red calipers. This build features the Vossen CG-203 forged wheels. The concave wheel design, featuring split-five spoke setup, fits the narrative of the 5 Series perfectly. The customer opted-in for wheels sized 20×9.5 and 20×11 in the front and rear, respectively.

BMW offers several engines for the BMW G30 5 series. Replacing the current and aging BMW 528i is the new 530i, which uses an updated version of its B48 2.0 liter TwinPower four-cylinder engine, making 252 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. For the 530i, the vehicle will sprint from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds while also returning a combined 5.4 liters/100 km (43 mph US). The other petrol variant available at launch is the 540i. That model is powered by the excellent B58 3.0 liter TwinPower inline-six engine, developing 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. The 540i, with xDrive, will sprint to 60 mph in a rapid 4.8 seconds, all while being able to return 6.5 l/100 km (36 mpg US) of fuel consumption.

For European markets, the 520d and 530d will use a 2.0 liter turbo-four and 3.0 liter turbo-six diesel, respectively. For the 520d, that means 190 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 mph in 7.6 seconds and 4.0 l/100 km (58 mph US) with the eight-speed automatic (expect the economy and performance to drop a bit with the six-speed manual). 265 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque are offered in the 530d, along with a standard sprint of 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and 4.5 l/100 km (52 mpg US).
