As we’re getting closer to March so is the 88th Geneva International Motor Show. One of the biggest venues of its kind, the 2018 edition will still feature a fully fledged BMW stand with all the goodies we’ve grown used to. We’ll get to see a couple of premieres in the Swiss city as well as some older models we’ve already gotten used to. The one world premiere we can confirm right now is the brand new BMW X4 which will be shown to a live audience for the first time in Geneva.

While that definitely sounds interesting, the Bavarians have also confirmed a while back that a brand new concept will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show but they stopped short of actually confirming the name of that car. All we know is that it is part of the 8 Series range and that the people from the M division had something to do with it. Either way, it’s previewing a production car and it’s showing us what the future holds.

Alongside these two aforementioned premieres, the BMW X2 will also celebrate its European premiere. Even though some select journalists from around the world, including Europe, have already tested the new baby-SUV, the X2 is making its first appearance in front of a live audience on the European continent next month. It will be the same situation for the BMW M3 CS and the BMW 2 Series Active and Gran Tourer models which have just received a facelift.

Last but definitely not least, the BMW i8 Roadster will also make an appearance alongside the BMW i8 Coupe facelift. These two are scheduled to enter production in April and will be reaching dealers worldwide just in time to enjoy the warmer days without a roof over your head. All in all it seems like the regular BMW enthusiast will have plenty of novelties to see in Geneva.
