One of the oldest partners BMW has been working with and one of the best tuners out there for Bavarian machines, AC Schnitzer, has recently finished the development of tuning parts for the new G30 BMW 5 Series. Therefore, the German tuner decided to share its end products with the world by putting out a short video, showcasing their latest creations. Mind you, there’s still some work to be done but it involves software more than anything tangible.

As you can see from the short clip below, the G30 5 Series range can now be upgraded using AC Schnitzer parts. The bits a lot of people are most interested in hide beneath sheet metal and involve raising the power figures of the engines under the hood. Well, you’ll be glad to know that the 540i can be taken up from 340 HP to 400 HP by the Germans, all without affecting your warranty in Europe. Furthermore, the 530d can be taken up from 265 HP to no less than 315 HP, considerable 50 HP increase just by tweaking the ECU.

Alas we’re more interested in other engine tuning choices, as the 540i and 530d already have plenty of punch. Unfortunately, the guys are still working on kits for the 2-liter diesel and petrol engines but once they’re done, we’ll post the full figures you can get with an AC Schnitzer kit. To top everything off, the 462 HP M550i is also in the works, and we can’t wait to see just how much power the guys manage to squeeze from the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8.

Other upgrades include a spring kit that can lower the car’s ride height by 30 to 35 mm, new aerodynamic elements like a front splitter, rear spoiler and side sills, all made of carbon fiber, as well as 8 different wheel sets, in 19″ or 20″ guises and different colors. If you also want to change the sound of your car, AC Schnitzer has new rear mufflers for the G30 platform as well as various muffler tips you can choose from.
