The BMW M Performance Tuning accessory for the new BMW 6 Series GT will be available directly to the market launch on November 11, 2017. The in-house sports program for sensory, audible and visual dynamics is based on the optional M Sport Package and goes a step further in many aspects – for more performance and, of course, for an even sportier look.

Already at first glance the black kidneys stand out, but the design program for the exterior includes some other ingredients: carbon exterior mirrors, 21-inch wheels and the BMW M Performance decor strips in Frozen Black and Grey. Multi-layer paintwork and high-gloss finishing give the car’s surfaces their striking intensity.

The exclusively designed wheels have mixed tires in the sizes 245/35 R21 on the front axle and 275/30 R21 on the rear axle, complete with emergency running properties. The sport braking system consists of perforated lightweight construction brake discs with 4-piston fixed caliper brakes made of aluminum on the front axle and single-piston floating caliper brakes on the rear axle. Red brake calipers serve as a visual indication of the fact that the design of the BMW M Performance sport brake system is derived from motor racing.

The stainless steel exhaust systems for 630i and 640i are equipped with round or trapezoidal tailpipes, and depending on the motor, the tailpipes are in either chrome or carbon.

For the interior, the BMW M Performance Tuning Program for the BMW G32 6 Series GT currently only has a flattened sports steering wheel with an Alcantara cover in the handle area and 12 o’clock marking. It also features shift paddles for manually selecting gears in conjunction with the 8-speed Steptronic sports transmission.

The model-specific retrofit options from the BMW M Performance range will be available right from the launch of the new BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo. All products form part of the Original BMW Accessories program, sold and installed through the BMW dealer network, BMW sales subsidiaries and BMW Service Partners.
