Back in March we got to know a very special BMW M2. Marko from MT-Video.de performed a photo shooting with a BMW M2 in Java Green. Now we are delighted to bring you an exclusive article, featuring the green sports car.

Michael, the owner of the green M, lives in Munich and picked up his beloved M2 in December 2016 at the BMW Welt. As a true Christmas present, his new car was fully loaded with all available options. However, only the checkbox for the DCT transmission on the order list stayed empty. Being a purist driver, Michael decided to stick to the six-speed manual transmission.

Another checkbox for the individual color of his dream car stayed also empty. Initially, his BMW M2 wasn’t born with Java Green as exterior color. BMW and BMW Individual were not able to fulfill Michael’s dream of a BMW M2 painted in Java Green. Instead, he took delivery of a BMW M2 with Mineral Gray as exterior color.

Fortunately, he found his luck at a local car shop in Munich. The conversion of his M2 started in the first week of 2017.

Next to the eye-catching exterior color, Michael hasn’t stopped with just changing the color of his M2. Shortly after the conversion to Java Green was finished, he started to tastefully add a bunch of BMW M Performance parts. The exterior of his M2 is dominated by carbon fiber parts. While the front features the kidney grille in high-gloss black and carbon-fiber mirror caps, the back is showcasing a carbon fiber rear diffusor, the carbon fiber rear spoiler and the M Performance exhaust system.

The full list of M Performance parts includes:

– Carbon-fiber front flaps
– Carbon-fiber rear diffusor
– Carbon-fiber rear spoiler
– Carbon-fiber mirror caps
– Exhaust system with carbon-fiber caps
– High-gloss black kidney grille
– LED entry sills

In addition to the M performance parts, the green M2 received also a chassis upgrade by the well-known BMW expert Laptime Performance. A KW Clubsport V3 was installed and offers an even enhanced driving experience of the M2.

Future plans of Michael include the installation of custom-made Recaro CS sport seats and new HRE FF01 IPA 19-inch wheels.
