Not long ago we showed you the most hardcore tuning program for the F85 BMW X5 M from German tuner G-Power. The end result showcased 750 HP thanks not only to an ECU re-map but also thanks to a few hardware changes. Well, today we get to see such a monster in action, if we’re to believe the video description on Youtube.

The uploader claims the SUV we’re looking at here has 735 HP and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal, numbers that seem to be rather arbitrary. That’s because the G-Power options go from 650 HP to 700 HP and, eventually 750 HP with a top torque figure of 980 Nm (723 lb-ft) for the top of the line version.

No matter the engine output though, we can’t help but notice the fact that the car does seem to run like crazy out there, taking on some really fast opponents as well. All of them are probably tuned and are most likely putting down over 500 HP. That certainly doesn’t help the massive SUV that also has to fight air resistance as speed builds up, due to its boxy design.

However, keeping up with the drag strip killer, otherwise known also as Godzilla or Nissan GT-R, is no easy feat to achieve, even if the Japanese car is stock. And yet the BMW seems to do it, despite its generous hips. Admittedly, the rolling start also helps out but that doesn’t take anything away from the praise this thing deserves.
