With the advent of the Competition Package for the BMW M4, the level of high-performance and driving dynamics for the mid-range performance coupe was raised to a new level. A level that some considered the M4 should have been at from the beginning. A few days ago, a gorgeous Black Sapphire Metallic BMW M4 with a full Competition Package visited European Auto Source, where it received a few aftermarket touches a detailed photoshoot as well.
The Competition Package includes a small power upgrade to 444 horsepower (450 hp in Europe). It also comes with an Adaptive M Suspension – which has been extensively tuned to the enhanced performance and handling – new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars. You also receive reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+). To finish it off, BMW also retuned the electronic differential and the Dynamic Stability Control to match the upgraded hardware.
The addition of the exclusive forged, machine-polished, weight- and rigidity-optimized 20-inch M alloy wheels bring an welcome cosmetic touch to the package. For this Competition Package BMW M4, the owner also chose to add a subtle the classy looking BMW M Performance rear spoiler. With the M Performance parts, the fitment is always guaranteed and the quality and finish is stellar.
