“The Driveway” continues today with an exciting showcase – everyone’s ultimate favorite, the BMW 330Ci ZHP. Even better, this one comes with the six-speed manual transmission. The ZHP package on the E46 was one of the best combination of options ever put together by BMW. The Performance Package, option code “ZHP,” created by BMW Individual was available only in the United States as a $3,900 option package on the 2003-2006 BMW 330i. This outfitted the 330i with many BMW Performance Parts as part of a comprehensive application that changed to overall performance and handling as well as enhanced its looks.

BMW proclaimed that the ZHP “brings track-inspired excitement to your daily drive.”

Name: Sandeep

Car (year/make/model): 2006 BMW 330Ci ZHP 6 speed manual

Time of Ownership: 2 years 2 months

What made you buy it?: First car and always wanted a BMW. Drove a friend’s ZHP and was sold on it immediately. Nothing comes close in terms of driving experience for a daily driver especially for the price.

Things you like: Not very expensive to maintain and lot of after market support. But the best aspect is the driving experience especially the steering feedback when you really push it.

Things you’d change: Wheels. Stock wheels are quite heavy

Modifications Done: Gruppe M intake, UUC Corsa TSE3 exhaust, KONI Yellow adjustable dampers

Any Adventures?: Multiple road trips across the East Cost and Mid-West including Tail of the Dragon

Costs: More than $5000 on modifications and maintenance

What’s Next (Next car, next adventure, etc.)?: E90 M3 with 6 speed manual
