With only 700 units available worldwide, the BMW M4 GTS is not only one of the most rare BMWs you can buy today, but also one of the highest limited edition cars in the world. So it pains to see that one of them has been already taken to the bodyshop. Our reader Todor Todorov has spotted a damaged BMW M4 GTS in Munich and snapped some photos for us.
The Alpine White M4 GTS looks to have suffered some fairly minor damages to the front-end, which will likely lead to the replacement of the left fender and the hood. The circumstances surrounding the crash are unknown at the moment, so we can only speculate that this was some sort of a collision with a non-moving object, rather than another automobile.
The vast majority of the 700 BMW M4 GTS cars were ordered in the launch color Frozen Dark Grey, so the specimens in Alpine White are therefore in minority.
The BMW M4 GTS is the fastest production series BMW of all time and thanks to extensive modifications made to the standard M4, it manages to circumnavigate the Nürburgring Nordschleife in just under 7:28 minutes. Responsible for this impressive time are a modified aerodynamics with extendable front splitter and an adjustable rear wing, an adjustable suspension and of course, the water injection engine with 500 HP.
