For sure, the city of Hong Kong is a bustling megapolis with over 7 million people. But even there, you will still run into some perfect outback roads to escape on with your ride. This photoshoot by Icy J Photography, gives us a great look at three BMW M235is. The cars are showcased in some rather great scenery. The photoshoot brings two Alpine White and one Melbourne Red BMW M235i – showcased in perfect detail.
The M235i is a great car by all means. Compared with the historically important models like the BMW 2002ti and the BMW E46 M3, the small(er) M235i is a perfect performance vehicle that complements its larger brethren – BMW M3 and M4 – perfectly. Featuring a BMW M Performance 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, the M235i boasts a powerful 320-horsepower and comes with a maximum torque output of 330 lb-ft available between 1,400-4,500 rpm.
The performance output allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.6 seconds and provides the driver with plenty of power to attack those track corners. The BMW M235i xDrive will make the sprint even faster: it will go from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.4 seconds.
Fuel consumption is impressive as well. The BMW M235i (with an eight-speed automatic) is capable of 32mpg in the city and 20mpg highway fuel consumption. That is – for Europeans – approximately 11l/100km and 7l/100km for city and highway fuel consumption, respectively.
The recently-released BMW M2 builds atop this successful model and it certainly packs a bigger punch & even better driving dynamics, but the BMW M235i is a perfect blend of performance, looks and pricing for plenty of owners. With a unique style, a great powerplant and amazing performance, it’s that sweet spot in the company’s model range that gives its best in many different aspects.
